I have curated a list of personal experiences/goals that I would love to enjoy and achieve this coming year. I am making a promise to myself to travel more, learn more skills and become my best version of myself. Here is to a year full of good things 😇 bad things 😈 and all the things in between. 🥂

A weekend getaway to Gilpin Hotel and Lake House in the Lake District, this is a beautiful Georgian style country house with suites designed to perfection, on-site Michelin star restaurant and a spa for ultimate relaxation... all the better to get me in a bikini. I have become a lover of country escapes, I was lucky enough to visit Gleneagles, Lodore Falls and Nutfield priory this year which were all outstanding to say the least and I plan on hopefully expanding my list in 2023.

Visit Singapore! This has been on my bucket list for a long time and I feel that I am finally ready to take the plunge. Tasting the amazing food, visiting Ode To Art and exploring the botanic gardens are a few activities on my list. If I'm lucky I hope to visit Thailand & Japan while I'm in Asia and make it a trip to remember.

To complete a floristry course, this year I've been lucky enough to receive the most blooms I ever have thanks to some special people. More often than not, I realised I had no clue how to arrange flowers (prettily)🤣 which gave me the great idea of a bouquet arranging class? Which I found out to be a floristry course and yes it does include more than just arranging flowers. Long story short I am determined to master this skill by the end of the year. Watch this space or shall I say watch this vase 🌸.

To visit New York for 2-4 weeks. If you know me then you know I was originally born in the states but lived my life in sunny London. I feel that as of late I haven't taken full advantage of my little American book and an NYC trip would be a good stepping stone because

1) I have been a few times before and

2) I love love love all the culture New York has to offer minus the rats. Hopefully if all goes well I'll then be planning trips to Boston, Miami and Atlanta. ✈️

An evening at Ronnie Scotts, as a veteran Jazz lover I find it criminal that I have yet to visit the ultimate lovers Jazz spot in London.

Some of my favourite Jazz artists :

  • Billie Holiday

  • Miles Davis

  • Frank Sinatra (obviously)

  • Nina Simone

A visit to Modena Italy : Home of parmigiano reggiano cheese, balsamic vinegar and prosciutto which are some of my favourite foods especially tossed with some wild rocket.

Although delicious my lust for this trip is centred around the 3 Michelin star Osteria Francescana. A contemporary style restaurant which sources local produce whilst encouraging a relaxed and fun dining experience. In other words a dream come true for a foodie!!

Last but not least is a permanent space in Central London, which is self explanatory. I am officially ready to live out my hostess with the mostess dreams, creating delicious cheeseboards and putting smiles on faces one day at a time. 🏡
